About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automated Testing and Quality Control Analyst to join our team at Vertafore. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality delivery of our software solutions.

Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing automated testing processes to guarantee that our software meets or exceeds customer expectations. You will work closely with our development teams to provide the best possible products for our valued customers.

This is a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where you will continually challenge yourself to exceed objectives, remove barriers, meet critical deadlines, and maintain multiple projects while pioneering ways for efficiency as a team player.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement automated testing processes to ensure that software functions as expected to meet or exceed customer standards
  • Work with development teams to provide the best possible products for customers
  • Continually challenge yourself to exceed objectives, remove barriers, meet critical deadlines, and maintain multiple projects
  • Collaborate with team members to pioneer ways for efficiency
  • Provide feedback to software engineers on features or changes and usability metrics to enhance the user experience
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A college degree preferred
  • Detailed understanding of software development methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to comprehend documentation clearly and effectively
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Analytical - technical aptitude for developing automation
  • Experience with CA Agile (Rally), SAFe, qTest, command line tools, SQL, Postman, and Dynatrace
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000-$80,000 + VIP Bonus, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
