Job Summary:

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
  • Perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners and other imaging equipment.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiological Technologist.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
  • Advanced certification by ARRT in CT preferred.
  • BLS certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six (6) months experience as a CT Technologist.
