We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que in Brooklyn, NY. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by preparing and cooking delicious BBQ dishes.

About the Job:

As a Line Cook at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, you will be responsible for maintaining product presentations, product quality, and cook time standards. You will also assist other cooks, preppers, and dishwashers as needed, while ensuring that all kitchen work areas, equipment, plateware, and utensils are kept clean, sanitary, and orderly.

Salary Information:

We offer competitive pay ranging from $19.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience. In addition, we provide full medical, dental, and vision insurance (subject to eligibility), accrued PTO and Sick Hours, 401 K Eligibility after one year of service, and a fun and fast-paced work environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have at least six months to two years of related experience, with the ability to use knives, slicing equipment, and other food preparation tools. You must also be able to place plates, utensils, pans, and cases on high and low shelves, possess a working knowledge of dining room and service procedures, and be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Food Handler's certificate and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred but not required. If you have these qualifications, you may find it easier to excel in this role.
