United Rentals is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team as a Service Technician. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks and minor repairs on rental equipment in a safe and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on rental equipment before and after use to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Report any machine condition issues to management to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Perform minor repairs on rental equipment and tools, including oil changes, greasing, and fluid checks.
  • Demonstrate equipment to customers and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with the pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts as needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Basic knowledge of construction equipment and tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
