Unit Overview:
Our 35-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit is a fast-paced environment where you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to patients with STEMI's, post Cardiac Catheterization care, CHF, Arrythmia, and Blood pressure Management, Cardiac Catheterization, and Stroke management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiac conditions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Other unit-specific certifications as required
