We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer-Water Resources to join our team at Robert D Gilmore & Associates, Inc.

Job Summary

The Civil Engineer-Water Resources will be responsible for executing technical work assignments on water resources engineering projects individually or as part of a project team. This role may involve managing water resources projects from start to finish, handling day-to-day tasks, and representing a municipal authority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide design services for water and wastewater facilities
  • Assist with preparing Federal and State regulatory permit applications and plans
  • Assist with preparing bid plans and specifications
  • Compose letters, memoranda, reports, applications, and studies
  • Perform site investigations, construction observation, and field reconnaissance
  • Review private development plans for compliance with applicable authority water and sewer standards
  • Assist Project Manager to establish new and maintain existing relationships with clients, subcontractors, etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related area
  • 2+ years of experience in civil engineering areas such as planning, investigations, reporting, water resource conveyance, storage, and treatment design
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification or Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD (preferably Civil 3D), and WaterCAD or similar hydraulic modeling software
Working Conditions
  • Occasional regional travel required
  • Ability to work additional and/or nonstandard office hours, as required
