Job Title: CNA Instructor - Teaching and Clinical Skills

Location: Newport Beach, CA

About the Job:

We are seeking a qualified LVN or RN as Nurse Assistant Training Instructor also known as a CNA Instructor to teach individuals the skills and knowledge needed to become a CNA and pass the California CNA State Test.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Teach students in a classroom setting and lead clinical skills performances
  • Plan and evaluate course participants' progress towards successful completion of the program
  • Meet state regulations and compliance standards for the NAT program
Qualifications:
  • Current license as a nurse in the state where teaching will occur
  • Two years of experience as a nurse with at least one year working in a long-term care facility or with elderly or chronically ill patients
  • DSD Certificate or Adult Education experience preferred
  • Must meet state minimum nursing and teaching experience requirements for instructors
Salary and Benefits:

$29.00-$32.00 per hour DOE (Dependent on Experience)
