The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring quality care and accurate information for radiological interpretations. This role focuses on patient-centered care during night shifts and encompasses a variety of ultrasound modalities, including vascular exams.
As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will support the growth and development of the diagnostic imaging department while adhering to high standards of practice and delivering compassionate healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a positive experience
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of medical sonography
- National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire (or within 1 year of hire)
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
