Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop online courses in Information Architecture, aligning with program outcomes and teaching standards.
  • Develop and deliver course content, including lectures, discussions, and assignments, to engage students and promote learning.
  • Provide timely and meaningful feedback to students on their work, and respond to student inquiries and concerns.
  • Facilitate online discussions and create a supportive learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Information Architecture and User Experience design.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Human Factors, HCI, User Experience, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in UX roles, with a focus on Information Architecture.
  • Applied knowledge of information architecture and user experience design principles.
  • Experience with design and prototyping tools relevant to Information Architecture.
  • Knowledge of IA user research methods, including card sorting and tree testing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in information science or library science.
  • Experience with both formal and rapid UX processes.
  • Leadership/Management experience.
  • Teaching experience, preferably online.
