Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an AOA-accredited college of osteopathic medicine or an LCME-accredited college of allopathic medicine.
  • Experience: Successfully completed an AOA or ACGME-accredited residency program in family medicine, with ALSO Provider Certification required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice, licensed to practice medicine in Maryland, and able to obtain medical staff appointment.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Member in good standing of the specialty college, education, experience, and interest in medical education, administrative ability, and leadership necessary to teach in a training program.
