Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests, associates, and vendors. This is a part-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a high level of security awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols of the hotel complex to identify potential security risks and respond to emergencies
  • Monitor security monitors and respond to suspicious behavior
  • Assist with door lock problems and maintain order in the hotel
  • Coordinate responses to emergency conditions, such as fires or safety hazards
  • Handle undesired conduct and potential violations of hotel policy
  • Watch for suspicious persons entering, exiting, or loitering around the building
  • Answer security telephone and safety hotline calls
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
  • Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 150 pounds
