We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Allison Transmission Technician to join our team in Des Moines-Altoona. The ideal candidate will have specialized knowledge of Allison transmissions and a proven track record of delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility is to diagnose, remove, repair, and maintain heavy-duty Allison transmissions used in commercial vehicles.\
  • Diagnose and repair transmission non-conformance.\
  • Diagnose and repair basic equipment wiring.\
  • Performs other routine duties.\

Requirements

  • A positive attitude and ability to set goals and accomplish them.\
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.\
  • High school degree or equivalent.\
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working with Allison transmissions.\
  • Ability to work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs.\
