Culinary Artist

We are seeking a Culinary Artist to join our team at Taziki's Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing fresh food items daily and accurately. You will work in a fast-paced environment, managing orders efficiently and maintaining proper hygiene and health department standards throughout each shift.

This is a full-time position with a competitive estimated salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and collaboratively with the team, and demonstrate a strong work ethic with passion and urgency.

1. Preparing fresh food items daily and accurately
2. Set up and stocking of stations with all necessary supplies
3. Menu and product knowledge
4. Managing orders efficiently
5. Preparing catering orders
6. Proper food handling and storage of food products
7. Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance
8. Maintaining health department standards throughout each shift
9. Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish, and prep areas
10. Performing shift-side work to include opening and closing duties

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experienced preferred but not required - we will train you
• Proper knife skills
• Ability to operate all necessary kitchen equipment
