About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture procedures
  • Verify order requests and identify patient information prior to drawing blood
  • Label and deliver specimens to the appropriate processing area
  • Communicate essential information to appropriate personnel
  • Provide a positive customer service experience for patients
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Formal phlebotomy certification preferred
  • Technical proficiency in standard procedures, techniques, and common practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
