Full-Time Opportunity in Inpatient and Outpatient Settings
Location: AdventHealth Kissimmee
Position Overview:
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of patients; diagnose and manage conditions related to gastrointestinal health.
- Order and interpret essential diagnostic evaluations, including laboratory tests and imaging studies.
- Provide treatment for a variety of gastrointestinal disorders, including but not limited to GI bleeding, GERD, dysphagia, acute liver conditions, gallbladder diseases, and inflammatory bowel diseases.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary referrals to specialists or physicians as required.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and support.
- Exhibit a compassionate and professional demeanor consistently while pursuing personal and professional development.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with colleagues, patients, and the community.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible scheduling options available, including 4-10 hour shifts or traditional Monday to Friday hours.
- Main practice location: AdventHealth Kissimmee.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships with staff, patients, and the community.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills are essential.
- Adaptability and openness to change.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Educational Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient GI settings is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
Licensure and Certification:
- Valid Florida APRN or PA-C license.
- Certification from ANCC, NCCPA, or equivalent.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
