Job Summary:

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Practice Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our front office, nurses, and allied health staff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising, evaluating, and developing staff to ensure exceptional patient care and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the hiring, supervision, and evaluation of assigned staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Schedule staffing to meet changing workload needs and ensure adequate coverage.
  • Coordinate daily operations, including medical records, patient and physician scheduling, front desk management, accounts payable, and insurance verification.
  • Manage charge entry, patient balance processing, and daily reconciliation of charges and payments.
  • Provide professional and technical support to staff, troubleshoot delivery of patient care, and identify training needs for staff development.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with standards, laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Review and analyze clinical and medical records to determine healthcare patterns and assign appropriate resources.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree required; clinical license preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a medical office setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
