Job Objective

The Branch Operations Trainee is responsible for aiding in the growth of the branch's operations, gaining insights into the consumer finance sector, understanding RM's operational practices, and preparing for branch management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete the training program within the designated timeframe.
  • Familiarize yourself with our personal loan offerings to guide customers in making informed financial decisions.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships by delivering outstanding service.
  • Develop and present consolidation options for clients.
  • Learn the fundamentals of loan underwriting.
  • Assist past-due customers in arranging payment plans.
  • Help maintain weekly standards for delinquency reduction.
  • Promote additional loan products to existing customers.
  • Implement the business plan for outreach to former clients.
  • Facilitate loan closures as directed by the Branch Manager.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Compensation

Average Pay - $22.00/hr (Pay range applicable to California residents only).

Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled as a full-time Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in an accredited college program.
  • Availability to work between 8 and 25 hours per week.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment assessments, including drug screening, credit, and criminal background checks.
  • Willingness to obtain all necessary certifications and licenses.

  • Major in a business-related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Willingness to relocate for career growth.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with liability insurance.

Work Environment

This role is based in a branch office, providing services to customers both in-person and over the phone. The Branch Operations Trainee typically works 16-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends.
