Overview:

The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest accommodations. This position is essential in ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Thoroughly clean and prepare all assigned guest rooms on a daily basis.
  2. Attend to stay-over rooms by changing linens and replenishing towels and toiletries as required.
  3. Perform deep cleaning of check-out rooms, ensuring all linens and amenities are refreshed.
  4. Respond to guest requests for additional supplies such as towels, toiletries, and other amenities.
  5. Maintain cleanliness of supply carts and restock as necessary throughout the shift.
  6. Replace used glassware with clean items in all assigned rooms.
  7. Efficiently transport cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
  8. Make up sofa beds and rollaway beds as required.
  9. Utilize appropriate cleaning agents for various surfaces in accordance with safety regulations.
  10. Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will possess the following:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Professional demeanor suitable for a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Understanding of cleaning protocols and adherence to safety standards.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical and Mental Demands:

This role requires:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch as necessary.
  • Capability to lift and maneuver cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Strong visual acuity and auditory skills.
  • Ability to clean a minimum of 16 rooms daily.
