Key Responsibilities
  • Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols
  • Prepare and maintain accurate inventory records and logs
  • Provide support to dental students, residents, and faculty in the clinical setting
  • Assist with instrument sterilization and maintenance
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless clinical operations
Requirements
  • One year of dental assisting experience
  • Successful completion of an accredited dental assisting program may substitute for one year of experience
  • Current/valid CPR and/or BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current dental assisting experience with decontamination, cleaning, sterilizing, and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment
  • Experience working with sterilizing and dispensing dental instruments and equipment
  • Experience with clinical area preparation in a dental clinic and/or office
