We are seeking a skilled and compassionate ER Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Department team at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the efficient flow of patients, including triage, screening, preparation for exam, and arranging or testing and admissions.
- Provide general nursing care and ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and best practices in emergency nursing.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
- American Heart Association PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and/or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) certifications required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Current NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
