Facility: This premier healthcare institution stands out in the tri-state region, featuring the only extensive cardiology center and a level II regional neonatal intensive care unit. The facility also encompasses a trauma center, a CARF-accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit, home health services, orthopedics, retail pharmacies, palliative care, and a comprehensive suite of outpatient and community services.

Opportunity:
  • Full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, encompassing 36 hours of patient interaction weekly.
  • Candidates should possess Board Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and have relevant experience.
  • Involvement in the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.
  • Ability to manage complex medical cases and collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, and therapists.
  • The unit has the potential for immediate expansion, accommodating up to 17 beds.
  • Patient demographics range from young adults to seniors.
  • Common conditions treated include stroke, head injuries, spinal cord injuries, Guillain-Barré syndrome, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, significant trauma cases, and various cardiac and orthopedic issues.
  • The role entails a full-time commitment, Monday through Friday, with 36 hours dedicated to patient care.
