The Opportunity

RS&H is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Associate to contribute to our infrastructure team. This role offers a hybrid schedule, allowing for a balance of in-office and remote work.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for compiling data, assisting with permit and report preparation, and material testing. You will also complete elementary design calculations, prepare quantity takeoffs and estimates, and engineering plans. Additionally, you will perform basic design tasks using engineering software and technology, prepare drawings and visual aids, and conduct field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Awareness of applicable federal, state, and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.
  • Basic knowledge of production software.
  • Passion for engineering and a willingness to grow and learn.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.
