Night Auditor

Job Summary:

A Night Auditor at Hampton Inn is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information. This role requires a positive and professional personality with a strong desire to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits of financial activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile accounts and process payments in a timely manner.
• Oversee front office operations during the overnight shift, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Stay up-to-date on daily hotel operations, events, and procedures to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Perform accurate check-ins and check-outs, as well as other necessary Property Management System functions.
• Answer phone calls and make reservations using proper sales techniques.
• Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently, maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Prepare a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel's financial performance for the day.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Property Management Systems.
