Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Driver to operate 53 ft. tractor-trailers on local routes. This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule. Some routes may require an overnight stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of the truck before and after trips, completing daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIRs) as required.
  • Assist customers in verifying quantities and products delivered against shipping documents.
  • Collect payments for goods delivered in accordance with established payment instructions.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Operate within safety guidelines as defined by government regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the equipment.
  • Uphold a clean driving record and comply with all company rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL Operator's License.
  • 1-3 years of previous driving experience, ideally with 100,000 miles.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests as mandated by the DOT.
  • Possess a Federal Medical Card and a solid understanding of safety precautions for Class A Drivers.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and excellent customer service abilities.
