Material Handler

Join our team as a Material Handler at a leading global medical technology company. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth movement of materials, parts, and finished products within our plant, office, or warehouse.

• Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks, to move materials and products.
• Maintain accurate records and develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area or process.
• Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Work within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality guidelines.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Zero to one year of warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
• Basic skills training in an analytical or scientific method or operational process area.
• Effective communication skills and ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and work in a metrics-driven environment.

The physical demands of this role include regular exposure to walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, lifting, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, talking, hearing, twisting, and frequent use of hands to finger, handle, feel, pick, or type. The job requires lifting and/or moving over 50 pounds and exposure to work near moving mechanical parts, extreme weather conditions, and vibration.

Occasionally, the position will have exposure to work in high, precarious places and fumes/airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
