Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist I

BayCare Health System is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist I to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic testing and quality controls, preparing reagents, and reporting results according to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform all diagnostic testing and quality controls
  • Prepare reagents
  • Report results according to established policies and procedures
  • Review and oversee moderate to high complexity testing
  • Use, monitor, and maintain computer applications appropriate to the position
  • Maintain equipment and supplies
  • Work independently and in a team
  • Must have customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate organizational, time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills
  • Use and understand medical terminology
Requirements:
  • State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
  • Preferred - ASCP certified
  • Required - Associate's degree
  • Preferred - Bachelor's degree
  • Preferred - 1 year laboratory related experience
