Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Behavioral Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate the admission process and assist with identifying recurrent health problems, symptoms, and behavioral changes of patients.
  • Collect pertinent data through observation, interview, and communication with other healthcare providers.
  • Record all data obtained through assessment in the patient's medical record.
  • Assist in forming a written plan, identifying short-term and long-term goals with anticipated behavioral changes.
  • Assist in setting priorities when planning care to meet patient needs.
  • Assist with patient healthcare, including administering routine and/or PRN medications as ordered.
  • Initiate and document prescribed treatments for nursing interventions in compliance with policy and procedure.
  • Keep the healthcare team informed of observations and changing conditions of patients.
  • Count CDs, drugs, and contraband, if requested.
  • Practice universal precautions when providing nursing procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state where applicable.
  • Maintains an active CPR certification.
  • A background check, security clearance, and drug screening are required for this role.
