Fire Protection Systems Technician

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills along with good organizational capabilities
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment security, drug, and background screening
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with fire pumps, backflow preventers, and standpipe systems
- NICET certification(s) are advantageous
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Wet, Dry, Pre-Action, and Deluge Sprinkler systems
- Working knowledge of Wet and Dry Sprinkler Systems is beneficial
Daily Responsibilities:
Core Duties:
Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance/repair of Wet, Dry, Pre-Action, and Deluge Sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA standards and state health regulations. The candidate should possess the ability to accurately identify and document any deficiencies discovered during inspections.
Methodology:
Knowledge of fire pumps, backflow preventers, and standpipe systems is considered a plus. Attention to detail is crucial, along with the capability to effectively communicate with colleagues, clients, and regulatory authorities both in writing and verbally.
