Psychiatrist - Clinical Expert

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at OptumCare in Coral Springs, Florida. As a member of our Behavioral Health team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of making healthcare better for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for patients with a wide range of mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver treatment plans that address the physical, mental, and social needs of patients.
- Foster strong provider-patient relationships and coordinate care with external providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Represent the practice in community presentations and lectures, and participate in the training and development of graduate students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Must have a clear and active Psychiatrist License (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
- Must be Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in the state of practice.
- Must obtain the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration.
