Soaring Heights Charter School is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Science educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a current Science and/or New Jersey teacher certification and have a passion for sparking creativity through real-world engineering projects.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Plan, present, and assess lessons based on the curriculum and state standards.
  • Supervise students in class, between classes, during lunch and recess, and on field trips.
  • Enforce school and class rules to create a calm and relaxed teaching/learning environment.
  • Keep current records for classes, including attendance and grades.
  • Prepare for lessons by getting materials ready or setting up equipment.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Teaching Certificate - Standard or Certificate of Eligibility.
  • Strong quantitative background.
  • Demonstrate empathy and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent classroom management abilities.
