As a Polysomnographic Technologist - Registered at Trinity Health, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive evaluations and treatment of sleep disorders. Under the general supervision of the Clinical Director (MD) or other designee, you will perform polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, or patient care and education. Your expertise will include scoring of sleep studies and assisting with supervision of other staff.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and treatment of sleep disorders
- Perform polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, or patient care and education
- Score sleep studies and assist with supervision of other staff
- Work under the general supervision of the Clinical Director (MD) or other designee
- High School Graduate
- Graduate of an accredited school of polysomnography preferred
- Associate/Bachelor degree preferred
- Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) or a current Indiana state license in respiratory therapy (RT)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one (1) year duration associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility OR equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician
