Job Title: Bartender

Levy is a leading presence in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry, with a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to our guests. We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at the Peacock Theater.

Job Summary:

The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. This includes setting up assigned bars, requisitioning and stocking all necessary supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Set up assigned bars, requisition and stock all necessary supplies, including beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, and stirrers.
  • Maintain stock, prepare, cure, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
  • Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner, take and/or process orders for drinks, and mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes.
  • Check guests at the bar for proper identification, detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained, and demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
  • Receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed.
  • Lock up and store all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits, and cash drops, and secure the bank.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards, keep the work area clean and organized, and arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
  • Wash and sterilize stemware, and perform other duties as assigned.
