Renown Health, a leading healthcare network in Northern Nevada, is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join its Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery department.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in Pediatric Orthopedic clinical settings, as well as ER Trauma experience and comfortability. The PA will see approximately 15-18 patients a day and perform both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, including rounding on pediatric patients in the NICU/PICU. Occasional OR assist time with the Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeons when needed.
The physician will provide orthopedic specific care to children between the ages of 0-18yrs, and patients with pediatric diagnosis up to the age of 21yrs. This care will encompass all aspects of general pediatric orthopedics and scoliosis.
Renown Children s Hospital is the only children s hospital in Northern Nevada, providing state-of-the-art care to children in the region. The hospital recently completed an expansion in 2023 to include a state-of-the-art NICU, PICU, and pediatric ward.
Renown Health and the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) are affiliate partners in Nevada's first integrated academic health system. The affiliation aims to improve the health of the community, region, and state through research, medical education, and expanded clinical care.
