Occupational Therapist Career Opportunity at JAG Physical Therapy

JAG Physical Therapy, a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy services, is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. With 100 facilities across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth and success.
About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled Occupational Therapist who can assess patients' strengths and weaknesses, develop effective treatment plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to monitor and adjust plans based on patient progress. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Hand Therapy and excellent communication skills to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Collects and records patient care data, including initial evaluations, daily notes, reassessments, and discharge plans, while adhering to department guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Develops and implements treatment plans based on evaluation results, goals, and best practices, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and patients to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provides education and training to patients and their support systems on ADLs, IADLs, therapeutic activities, and other relevant topics.
- Maintains accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, including documentation of billing and productivity.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid CPR certification.
- Completed state-regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ).
- Experience/knowledge with EMR software preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong clinical decision-making abilities, and 1+ year of professional OT experience.
- A competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
