Job Summary:

This is a full-time telework role in Kansas, with 50-75% travel required for face-to-face visits in assigned areas once COVID restrictions are lifted. The schedule is Monday-Friday, standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations of members' needs and benefit plan eligibility, facilitating integrative functions and smooth transitions to Aetna programs and plans.
  • Apply clinical judgment to incorporate strategies reducing risk factors and barriers, addressing complex health and social indicators impacting care planning and member issue resolution.
  • Review prior claims to address potential impact on current case management and eligibility, assessing members' level of work capacity and related restrictions/limitations.
  • Consult with supervisors and others to overcome barriers in meeting goals and objectives, presenting cases at case conferences for multidisciplinary focus to benefit overall claim management.
  • Utilize interviewing skills to ensure maximum member engagement and discern their health status and health needs based on key questions and conversation.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year(s) experience in behavioral health, social services, or human services field.
  • Bachelor's degree or non-licensed master level clinician required, with either degree being in behavioral health or human services preferred (psychology, rehabilitation, social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling).
