Position Overview

Work Schedule

This position operates on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or holiday obligations.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to deliver exceptional patient and provider support through the use of ultrasound imaging technologies, aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions.

  • Perform routine and urgent echocardiograms, including but not limited to 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional, Doppler, and Stress Echocardiograms, as per physician requests and established standards.
  • Thoroughly evaluate pathology in accordance with current guidelines set by the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) and the American College of Cardiology (ACC).
  • Assist in the reaccreditation process and quality improvement initiatives for the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission Echocardiography (IAC-Echo).
  • Review patient medical records to gather relevant history and information necessary for diagnostic procedures.
  • Address patient inquiries regarding procedures and equipment prior to initiating the imaging process.
  • Operate necessary equipment to perform all required procedures and ensure optimal diagnostic recordings, utilizing ancillary devices as needed.
  • Participate in mandatory staff meetings and fulfill continuing education requirements to support professional development and certification.
Qualifications

Successful candidates will have graduated from a program that meets the eligibility criteria for registry/certification or currently hold the required registry or certification. ARDMS/CCI certification in Echocardiography is mandatory.
