CoxHealth is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Care Assistant to join our team in an ambulatory clinic setting. As a Clinical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our medical assistants and nursing staff with administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a provider.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update patient schedules to indicate arrival and designated room
  • Measure vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respirations, pulse oximetry, temperature, height, and weight
  • Transport patients to and from examination rooms
  • Prepare patients for examination and maintain a clean and organized exam room environment
  • Stock supplies and sterilize medical instruments
  • Perform phlebotomy with specific training
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • No prior experience required, but previous experience in healthcare or direct contact with people is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
