Position Overview

As a Ground Systems Engineer, you will support the Space Development Agency (SDA) in the development, deployment, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. Your responsibilities will include providing technical guidance on satellite designs, testing methodologies, and ensuring compliance with system requirements. Key duties encompass:

  • Delivering strategic technical counsel to facilitate essential capabilities for the Proliferated Space Warfighter Architecture
  • Formulating satellite system specifications and coordinating with ground systems
  • Overseeing test and evaluation strategies, system validation, and integration activities
  • Evaluating technical readiness and advocating for necessary updates to ground systems
  • Developing Concept of Operations for new functionalities
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in satellite and ground systems
  • Robust technical knowledge of satellite and ground system interactions
  • Experience in systems engineering
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with strong communication skills
  • TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a STEM-related discipline
  • Experience collaborating with DoD and IC clients
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
