Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies is seeking a skilled Claims Examiner to manage and resolve property and bodily injury claims. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for investigating claims, identifying necessary information and documents, and communicating with insureds, claimants, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and analyze property and bodily injury claims to determine their validity and extent of coverage.
- Identify and obtain necessary information and documents to support claim evaluations.
- Communicate with insureds, claimants, and other stakeholders to gather information and resolve claims.
- Manage and direct independent adjusters in the review and evaluation of claims.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- Experience interpreting insurance contracts, claim procedures, and loss evaluation methods.
- 1-2 years of related work experience.
