Job Overview

Cummins-Wagner Co. Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for calling on various entities that influence the specification and purchase of products marketed by Cummins-Wagner. You will work cooperatively with other team members to gain preferred status within key accounts to drive sales toward Cummins-Wagner products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain CRM database of key personnel at all accounts
  • Conduct regular product training sessions with various influencers at end users
  • Keep the sales department informed of upcoming projects at target account
  • Act as liaison between end users and Cummins-Wagner customers
  • Assist sales management in tracking job quotes
  • Establish a regular call plan that maximizes the use of time
  • Submit call reports weekly, following the same schedule as expense reporting. Include the objective & results of each call
  • Work with various manufacturers and branch Sales Managers to promote new product introductions
  • Travel with manufacturers to various customers when they might be in town
  • Attend factory training and/or marketing meetings as directed
  • Assist with troubleshooting problem jobs
