Position Overview
Fluor, in collaboration with AECOM, has secured a significant contract for program delivery support services related to a major infrastructure initiative. This role is pivotal in providing strategic and technical guidance for estimating activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of estimate quality, execution, planning, staffing, and training.
  • Collaborate with management to prepare cost proposals and benchmark against previous projects.
  • Present estimates to stakeholders with authority and credibility.
  • Manage personnel, fostering professional growth through training and performance feedback.
  • Analyze and forecast potential issues, recommending effective solutions.
  • Organize and prioritize complex projects and tasks efficiently.
  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive capital cost estimates from initial planning to final design.
  • Facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
  • Assist in the preparation of business plans and project updates.
  • Review contractor change orders and prepare independent cost estimates.
  • Develop policies for programmatic cost estimating.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Candidate Requirements
Applicants must be authorized to work in the location of the position.

Basic Qualifications
  • A four-year degree or equivalent in a relevant field and a minimum of fifteen years of related experience.
  • Experience in large-scale construction projects.

Preferred Skills
  • Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or Engineering.
  • Experience with scheduling and project controls.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as Primavera P6, TILOS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with rail and roadway projects.
  • Extensive experience in scheduling and project management.
