About the Role

At US Foods, Inc., we are committed to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely deliveries of foodservice products. As a Class A Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in meeting our customers' needs by operating trucks safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely drive trucks to customers, adhering to scheduled delivery times and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer using manual labor or mechanical equipment, such as pallet jacks or two-wheelers.
  • Verify the accuracy of deliveries with customers, obtain signatures, and handle collections and payments when applicable.
  • Provide professional customer service, enhancing the overall client experience.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Requirements
  • A valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months of experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
  • The ability to read and communicate in the English language, understand highway traffic signs and signals, and enter information on reports and records.
Compensation and Benefits
