Nursing Care Support Associate

A skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant 2 is sought after to join our dedicated team at SUNY Upstate Medical University. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, and a patient-centric focus.
This role involves providing direct and indirect nursing care activities, including assisting with simple procedures, initiating CPR, and supporting the admitting, transfer, and discharge process. The successful candidate will also demonstrate knowledge of normal growth and development, respond to changing patient needs, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of one year of paid patient care experience is required for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Evening and every other weekend shifts are preferred.
