Key Responsibilities
  • Sustainable Supplier Development: Optimize supplier base to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Preferred Supplier Network: Establish a preferred supplier network in coordination with Global Sourcing.
  • Supplier Audits and Evaluations: Conduct regular supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Operational Tasks: Manage operational tasks within strategic procurement, including master data maintenance and quantity contract creation.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously optimize processes within procurement to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Team Collaboration: Lead/participate in cross-functional teams to establish dual-source strategies, process optimizations, and cost-saving projects.
  • SAP Ariba: Efficiently use SAP Ariba to manage procurement processes.
  • Market Trend Analysis: Recognize current market trends and adapt product category strategies accordingly.
  • Supply Chain Disruptions: Track and escalate persistent supply chain disruptions.
  • Make-or-Buy Decisions: Participate in make-or-buy decisions for the Heidelberg location.
  • Commercial Lead: Lead commercial aspects of development projects, including supplier identification, selection, and negotiation.
Requirements
  • Education: Successfully completed studies in engineering or technical fields.
