POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is accountable for overseeing and strategizing the execution of cost-efficient and timely maintenance required for the operation of all equipment processes essential to the Processing Maintenance and Refrigeration departments. Responsibilities include directing, coordinating, and supporting maintenance supervisors and personnel; collaborating with contractors, vendors, or company engineering on equipment modifications or installations; troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to equipment processes. This position also entails the effective management of highly automated systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and Robotics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the maintenance training program for maintenance team members;
- Assisting in budget preparation and oversight;
- Coordinating team member work schedules and ensuring the availability and maintenance of necessary parts and assets;
- Providing insights for managerial decision-making; and performing other responsibilities as needed.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a maintenance supervisory role.
Computer Skills: Proficient in standard computer applications.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills; ability to provide clear and precise directions to the workforce.
Special Skills: Extensive knowledge in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, automation, and maintenance training. Demonstrates sound judgment, decision-making capabilities, and organizational skills; ability to accept and delegate responsibilities.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for supervising a team of maintenance supervisors and/or personnel engaged in similar tasks.
Travel Requirements: 10%
