Job Summary:
The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is seeking a board-certified adult psychiatrist to provide mental health treatment at the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh, PA. As a member of the Behavioral Health Institute team, you will work collaboratively with mental health staff, medical staff, and pharmacy staff to ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable mental health treatment.

Responsibilities:
Perform psychiatric evaluations and provide psychiatric consultation and treatment for inmates. Enjoy regular and predictable schedules, including rotating on-call expectations, with excellent support staff on-hand. See a wide variety of cases, with ample opportunity for patient education and follow-up. Work collaboratively with the mental health staff, medical staff, and pharmacy staff to ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable mental health treatment.

Requirements:
Forensic training preferred. Board eligible/board certified in psychiatry. Completion of ACGME approved psychiatry residency. Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment. DEA and BLS Certification required prior to employment.
