Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Athletic Trainer to join our team at Pottsgrove School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care and support to student athletes, as well as developing and implementing injury prevention and rehabilitation programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care and support to student athletes, including evaluating and treating injuries, and developing rehabilitation programs.
  • Design and implement injury prevention programs to reduce the risk of injury to student athletes.
  • Collaborate with the school physician and other healthcare professionals to ensure that student athletes receive the best possible care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student athlete injuries and treatments.
  • Ensure that all athletic equipment and facilities are safe and meet the necessary standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Student Activities Director.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • Current certification in Athletic Training (ATC) and First Aid/CPR/AED.
  • Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
  • Experience in athletic training, preferably in public education.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, providing medical care and support to student athletes during practices and competitions. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The salary for this position is $36/hour, and the hours of work will vary depending on the needs of the school district.
