About the Opportunity

We are excited to offer a Senior Fire Alarm Design Engineer position at Code Red Consultants. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning fire alarm systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement fire alarm systems that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Mentor junior staff and provide training on technical skills and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience designing, programming, commissioning or inspecting fire alarm systems and possess strong technical acumen. A professional engineering license is preferred, but not required. Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit is also essential.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection, Electrical/Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering, Electronic/Mechanical Engineering Technology, or similar degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent combination of education and work experience).
  • 7+ years' experience designing, programming, commissioning or inspecting fire alarm systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant fire and life safety codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects from start to finish, with a track record of delivering on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
