Reports to (Title): Store Manager Essential Function This role is dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience by employing effective sales techniques. It is crucial to ensure that all transactions are executed accurately and that the store environment adheres to brand standards. Primary Duties
  • Brand Engagement: Elevate the customer experience by implementing optimal sales practices and adhering to company sales strategies. Guarantee that all customer transactions are processed accurately. Uphold brand standards by maintaining an appealing store environment that fosters a positive shopping experience. Address customer service challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a cooperative work environment to achieve store objectives, which includes maintaining good attendance. Engage with a diverse range of customers and colleagues regularly. Assist the Store Manager in the onboarding and training of new team members. Champion diversity, inclusion, and belonging within the workplace.
  • Operational Excellence: Accurately record all sales in the POS system and manage all monetary transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges. Complete daily reporting and paperwork, and make bank deposits as necessary. Price merchandise, manage back stock, assist with shipment processing, and maintain cleanliness throughout the store. Support Planogram (POG) execution as required. May be responsible for opening and closing the store.
  • Safety and Loss Prevention: Adhere to all safety and loss prevention protocols. Maintain compliance with inventory control procedures and hazardous materials regulations.
Knowledge, Skills/Abilities and Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact clearly with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to apply product knowledge effectively to enhance customer service.
  • Proficient in reading and explaining product labels.
  • Capable of following directions and completing additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

This position involves physical activities such as prolonged standing, walking, and occasional lifting of moderately heavy items. The work environment may include everyday risks that necessitate standard safety precautions typical of retail settings.

The workspace is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated, ensuring a comfortable working atmosphere.
