Assembly Technician

Job Summary:

The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling manufactured products and packing them according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attaching plastic handles to items
  • Working with conveyor belts
  • Collecting items
  • Producing the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances
  • Measuring finished parts with precision tools
  • Inspecting equipment prior to use
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area
Requirements:
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
  • Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this job include:

  • Talking and hearing
  • Sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
  • Standing and walking
  • Using hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • Reaching with hands and arms
  • Lifting and/or moving up to 35 pounds
Work Environment:

This position requires working in a warehouse environment with rotating weekends and on-call shifts.
